Here at The Wax Strip, we are about giving to our community and contributing to causes that affect us, our loved ones, and our clients. The Wax Strip’s Wish is to see our community in a better position than we found it. To join us on this mission, please help donate to these charities below.

Camp Kudzu is a nonprofit organization that creates a fun, carefree environment for those living with type 1 diabetes. This is important to The Wax Strip because our founder, Joy Ochoa, and her daughter Mia, both have Type 1 Diabetes. Mia has been fortunate enough to partake in Camp Kudzu, where her own pediatrician has volunteered his time. Help donate to this wonderful organization below.

The Alzheimer’s Association is a voluntary health organization for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Their vision is to one day have a world without Alzheimer’s disease.  More than 5.8 million Americans have Alzheimer’s disease, including Joy Ochoa’s, owner of The Wax Strip, mother-in-law.
